  • To process membership payments through Stripe

4. Gig Requests and Company Listings

Approved gig requests are visible to verified companies on the platform. Approved company listings and service descriptions are visible to paying members. Please do not include sensitive personal information in gig requests or service descriptions beyond what is necessary to describe the service needed.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at info@souqgig.com.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.

7. Your Rights

As a resident of Canada or the European Union you have the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
